Heartland Hospice Continues to Support CBN

     The Children's Bereavement Network (CBN) is pleased with the relationship with Heartland Hospice over the past year. They have chosen our Camp Live, Laugh, Love to send their grieving children to help them on their Grief Journey.

   This year, once again, Mary Cox who is the Bereavement Coordinator attended camp as a Group Leader.  She loves helping out and we are grateful to have her.  

     The Chaplain, Rev. Karen Henderlong wrote a grant to their foundation and obtained a $5000.00 grant to help with the camp. Heartland Hospice also sent some campers and purchased 50 copies of a book that we use at our Fall Reunion. This has worked out to be good for both organizations. It gives Heartland Hospice a camp to recommend to their grieving children, and it gives CBN the help we need to continue to have a quality camp. Thank you Heartland Hospice!
